ABOUT ASÉ

ASÉ is a black-owned entertainment, live event, content creation, and Professional Wrestling company out of Charlotte, North Carolina. The term ASÉ has Yoruba origins, meaning “the ability to create change/life force/energy.” It is affirmational and leans into the power of speaking things into existence.

The company is the brain-child of Charlotte native, creative, and 10-year professional wrestling veteran Darius Lockhart, who's been featured in the ring on NWA, AEW and internationally. "As a student of the game and a lover of Pro Wrestling since the age of 12, l noticed the people who are running the show didn't always look as diverse as the people working for them in the ring," Lockhart said. "I want to combat marginalization through Pro Wrestling,”

While looking to revive the culture of Pro Wrestling in Charlotte, NC and create a more diverse landscape across the industry - ASÉ also looks to spotlight both striving and thriving creatives of all art forms through original content creation and live event collaboration. ASÉ believes in the strength of community and networking across, all while extending a hand to pull others upward. Live events include live matches, DJ Sets, and musical performances.

ASÉ ran it’s first event at the historic Grady Cole Center on December 1st, 2023, with it’s follow up show on February 24th. Since then, it has featured collaborative efforts with Dreamville Artist Lute West, WWE Hall Of Famers Mark Henry, Ron Simmons, D’Lo Brown and Theodore Long, Raleighwood Co., Reuben Vincent, CYANCA, Marcus Kiser, Power .98, WBTV’s QC Life, Emmy Award Winner Kazeem Famuyide, wrestling legend Aja Kong, Impact Wrestling’s and NJPW’s Jonathan Gresham, Sonny Kiss, and Kevin Knight, All Elite Wrestling’s Kiera Hogan, and more.

ASÉ looks to the future in hopes that a seed planted today, will be fruitful for those who come tomorrow. You can watch ASÉ by purchasing links to watch shows live at the tab “Watch ASÉ” and by subscribing to our YouTube page where there is plenty of content.
